Talk about having to pick your jaw up off the floor!?!  Wow, I was in awe of every outfit and had to pry myself away each time,  to carry on with the rest of the display.

Chritmas 2016: Postcards from Seattle

Christmas Postcards from SEattle

Merry Christmas Friends, I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season so far!
It's the most wonderful time of the year, and for many it's also the busiest.  I was downtown last week to visit a very exciting exhibit. I will be posting about it, later in  December or early January!  If you follow my fashion posts, then you won't want to miss what I have to share!

On my way to my destination, I had to stop and admire all the pretty lights, trees, and garland up at Pike Place Market. It is beautiful all year long, but especially at the holidays.

whistler, travel, fall, travelblogger,

Visit a winter ski resort in the fall, say what? Ah yes, Whistler  is known as a renowned winter destination and is home to one of the top ski resorts in the world.  Most travelers like to make a visit here when mounds of puffy white stuff are blanketing the village. I recently made a visit in October and it was simply amazing!

How I Stayed in Paris 5 Nights for Free

I'm sure you've heard the famous quote by Audrey Hepburn " Paris is always a good idea." It's an expensive  place to travel to, so making it happen for some requires a lot of budgeting and saving. Since I am fashion and travel obsessed, I plan to visit France in the near future!

Today's article is a guest post is about how you can use hotel points to score a free stay.  I am especially happy to share the blog of a very dear friend of mine. He is actually like my brother.  I have known him and his siblings since I was 10 years old. I grew up as an only child in Vancouver BC.  Let's just say Carey and his two brothers made sure I did not miss out on the "sibling experience", ha!

This past January Carey retired, and he and his wife Susan are traveling the world indefinitely.  I am just a bit jello! Anyway if you get a chance , check out his blog Our Nomadic Experience. Here you will find fabulous tips on how to travel abroad on a budget. Carey definitely has it down to a science!

How I Got Five Free Nights in Paris

How would you like to stay five nights in Paris at four and five star hotels for free like I did? It was quite easy, I used free hotel reward nights and points I got for signing up for a couple of hotel sponsored credit cards. I have made collecting lots of airline and hotel points a hobby and in one year collected 1.3 million points. Look at my previous post http://ournomadicexperience.com/over-million-hotel-airline-points-year/ on how I did this.

Top 3 Beaches in Southern California

Every time I talk about a CA beach I get just a bit excited!  Last month I was able to visit 5 different beaches between Los Angeles and San Diego. I could totally live the beach bum life! I always get sad when I have to leave these spots of paradise behind.

There are so many awesome beaches in southern California,  it would take several weeks to check them all out. Of the 3 beaches I am featuring- Venice was the only one I had not been to before.  They all have many things in common, but at the same time each one is so unique.

If  you love the beach and are making a trip to CA anytime soon these are :
