Welcome to an overview of a little outdoor mall with big charm. If you are a lover of shopping like me, you are always looking for new spots to find the deals! Shopping on the Kitsap Peninsula can definitely be a challenge if you are into fashion. Kitsap county is located 45 minutes west of Tacoma across the Narrows bridge.
The shopping selection is very limited on the west side of the pond. That scenario just may be changing - the first outdoor shopping mall- The Trails is up and running in the picturesque town of Silverdale. This jewel by the sea offers stunning views of Sinclair Inlet and is the retail hub of the Kitsap Peninsula.
Purpose Boutique is the only specialty boutique at the Trails. The mission of this business is to make a difference in the world by combining unified passion, collaboration, and courage. This business gives back to the community through an organization called Rescue Freedom International. By shopping at Purpose, you are making an impact on women's lives all over the world.
Purpose carries the trendiest apparel available on the peninsula. I'm loving all the bohemian vibes here! This upscale shop also offers fun styling events and parties.
In addition to shopping, several dining options are available. Blazing Onion, Chipolte, Mod Pizza, and Corner Bakery are the latest eating options added to the complex. Habit Burger Grill, dubbed the "Best Tasting Burger In America, is coming soon.
Forever 21, Old Navy, DSW Shoes, Home Goods, and Ulta are the anchor tenants so far. Ulta is the place to get on your glam. I could spend hours in there! Sierra trading post was the latest to open. A grocery retailer is also rumored to be coming, but so far no news on who that might be.
Small town shopping can be a challenge. Are you attracted to big city shopping, or prefer the less traveled places- small towns? I'm definitely a fan of the city and huge malls! My favorite place to shop is downtown L.A. at the fashion district. I hope to do a post soon about my experiences there.
Take care, until next time
