Shift Your Colors
One of the best ways to celebrate fall is to shift into fall colors. Get into all the golden hues, rusts, oranges, and maroons. Bring out the warm chocolate, burnt umber and deep greens.
If you are short on ideas, just look at nature. Nature puts on a show of autumn colors in places that have broad-leaf trees. If you’re not living in such a region, get out the photos and go online to get inspired. Wherever you find yourself this fall, adopt these 6 tips for a healthy and active autumn.
Even the trees are reminding us that fall is a good time to let go of the old. Leaves fall. Branches go bare. Why don’t we emulate this idea?
Take your closet down to the bare bones. Pull out everything that doesn’t ‘fit’ you right now. Pack up, donate or give away anything too tight or poorly fitting.
But, don’t stop there. Go for things that no longer ‘fit’ your current lifestyle, personality and personal expression. You may have a well-loved jacket, dress, skirt or pair of jeans that just don’t work anymore.
This is a great time of year to give yourself a fresh start.
Put Together Your New Fall Look
For every person, there is a time. It’s the time when you declare your style. It may be a pair of shorts, a belt or a particular blend of colors that makes you feel radiant.
Experiment and have some fun playing. Your clothes are your artistic statement. Make sure you feel comfortable, at ease, and fully yourself.
Fall is a terrific time to get active. It’s exactly the moment to get out your hiking boots, running shoes, or athletic gear. The weather is cooler, the air is fresh, and the trails are calling.
Use this special time of year to infuse your routines with new adventures. Try out a new hike, park or trail. Take the time to get active by walking solo; or go exploring with friends and family.
While you’re out and about, try out new ways to stay hydrated. Expand your zone beyond the traditional sports drinks. Check out the CBD energy drink beverages that are taking the health world by storm. These tasty beverages are designed to fuel your day, maximize your workout and repair your muscles after a hefty hike.
Move More and Sit Less
Make a goal this autumn to move more and sit less. Health experts advise that adults need a minimum of 150 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week. That’s just 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. In addition, experts recommend muscle-strengthening at least 2 days a week.
Now is a fantastic time to get started on your fall goals for health, happiness and creative living. Here’s to your success!
This is such great tips. I always love getting together my fall look. And seeing what new things I might add. My birthday was yesterday which was a fun way to enjoy the fall season.
