Happy Memorial Day!

Hello Friends! I hope all is well in your world. It's been awhile since I've posted a new article or update. I apologize for lack of content lately.  It's been hard to keep up the blog with a full time schedule the past few months.

On April 1st I went back to teaching interventions at a charter school after a 3 year hiatus.  My contract ends in July, so we will see what pans out for the fall. School ended last week, I have to work a bit longer to wrap up the year.

After that I'll be heading back to "God's Country", the Pacific Northwest for part of the summer. I can't wait to see my son, friends and the amazing scenery I miss so much.  It will be great to get a break from the scorcher Vegas heat.  I think we had temporary insanity when deciding to move to the Southwest,  ha!  It has it's perks, but hope to get back to the NW eventually.

It's been a blast working with the 2nd grade team and doing math interventions at the Air Force Base.  Last week at field day we had a SUPER SOAKER time, thanks to the base firemen and their trucks. They hooked up the hose and " let er rip..!"  My hair was pulled up inside a hat, at least it stayed dry. All the kiddos and teachers were drenched from head to toe.  SO MUCH FUN! It was seriously the best field day ever.

Last week we made a trip to the Grand Canyon. God's handiwork is amazing, another bucket list experience checked off the list!  Stay tuned for an article coming about epic day trips from Vegas, including this one.  I plan to publish more frequently in the coming weeks.

In addition, I now offer TRIP PLANNING SERVICES for a reasonable fee. If you are interested check out these details, or shoot me an email at

Lastly, take a few moments today to honor and remember fallen service members who paid the ultimate price to serve their country. I am thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in the US, thanks to the military. God Bless America!
