I totally love the elegance and exquisite styling of this smashing couple.
I asked my friend Stephenie, if I could share this amazing photo of her and her husband Asbel at a black tie event.

The sheer lined black dress draping slightly above the knee emulates beautiful, timeless class. Minimal gathering accents the waist and adds flow. BCBG never disappoints when it comes to gorgeous designer dresses.

Being clad in a handsome tuxedo , is the perfect compliment to this eye catching look.  The tux is one of the best dress uniforms ever designed.  "Men's tailoring comes from uniforms", as quoted by one of my favorite designers- Tom Ford. The detailed pleating on the shirt displays a polished confidence.

Dressing for a night on the town can never go wrong with a LBD and a tux!

Who would've thought an adult onesie would be making its way into the fashion scene.  This hot new trend is catching on and gaining popularity.  You may not see them on the street a lot yet, but it's just a matter of time.  Most still use them for sleepwear, but some are using them for everyday wear.  The onesie was popular in the 50's era as standard wear for factory workers.

Society's obessesion  for something comfortable is paving the way for this fun whimsical new trend.  Ease of comfort, lively boisterous prints, and no fitting required are the main selling points for onesies.

Although it is not likely that this trend will be considered haute couture, it definitely will be sticking around as a solid addition among work clothes and PJ's.

What item in your closet its worth every penny?!? I say a pair of alluring ankle strap pumps in leopard print......but of course!   I was at Nordstrom a few weeks ago eyeing these beauties. I had a moment of temporary insanity and left without them!!  They were screaming at me all week to come take them home, I succumbed to the temptation :/.  These heels will earn a second look with their seductive shape and feminine detail.  They are made from the finest genuine calf hair and suede leather.  You won't be sorry for purchasing these babies, they are surprisingly comfy for heels!

I have included a few different looks to style these lovelies.  These shoes complete a vintage look perfectly, as well as a classic one.

As always, thanks for visiting and your kind support.

I adore this jacket I recently found at a vintage shop.  The long silhouetted lines of the piece compliment the leopard heels so well.

My favorite pairing for the shoes...(another great vintage find: bohemian vest)

A classic vest with ruffled trim also pairs well with these lovely shoes.  The vest I designed and sewed, but similar types can be found at most major retailers.

A Classic short wool jacket always works!

Fashion and Art are both industries that  incorporate an appreciation and study of beauty.  They both rely on markets that produce pieces that invoke a passion and craving for luxury goods.

Missoni is one such company that fulfills the dream of a exquisite wardrobe.  Each piece in the collection is transformed into a work of art.  The looks for Spring 2015 are definitely an experience of color explosion to delight the eyes.

Knits are playing a key role in spring collections for 2015.  Missoni is pulling out some heritage patterns from their archives.  I love the eye popping mixture of color in the latter piece pictured here.  Goccia knit is used in a zigzag pattern that give this dress a vivacious and snappy appeal.  The zigzag is placed in close proximity with the black trim to create a profound and powerful contrast.

Take an early trip into Spring and view Missoni's E-boutique! (Make sure you raid your guy's wallet first...he he ;)

Seahawk Mania is in full swing, and as I write this the Hawks are leading the Panthers, yay! One step closer to the Super Bowl.  I am hoping they can pull it off again!

I had to show my Hawks spirit and so I stitched up this comfy fleece coat!  I used McCalls Pattern No. #6802.   This pattern is so easy and it went fast...1 hr from start to finish! The fabric was purchased at JoAnne Fabrics.

I love this bag too, I found it at Tacoma Mall at a kiosk outside of Macy's.

As a token of my appreciaton for all the support I have received with my blog--- I will be hosting a give away soon for a replica of this coat.

Eshakti, An online reatailer, invited me to do a collaboration post.  I was excited for the opportunity to choose a dress, and feature the company on my blog.  For the most part I don't buy clothes online.  I'm always afraid they won't fit right and that I will end up doing a return.  What makes this company unique, is the option to have your order completely customized.  Sleeve style and length, neckline and adjustments for height are all available.  They also carry sizes 0-36W.

I chose the Colorblock A-line poplin dress.  I was happy with the fit, the dress is so classy!. I love the tuxedo look, it is very trendy right now.   A tuxedo on a woman exudes elegance and sophistication.

Happy New Year and Bon Voyage!  Ha not really, don't I wish!  A  cruise to the tropics to soothe the winter blues sounds great doesn't it?  Instead I took a short little voyage across the Puget Sound  to the streets of Seattle.  My favorite go to place for shopping, fun, and food.

The morning air was a bit chilly, but I was snuggly warm in my faux fur vest.  Layering is definitely a must in the Northwest this time of year.  I love this faux fur trend, I sure hope it comes back for next fall and winter.

ONLY IN SEATTLE!  There is never a lack of entertainment at Pike Place Market.  This dude sitting on the  ground behind me on the left was a total hoot!  He was holding up a sign that read something like " booty watcher", at least he's honest right?!?  Ha ha, I was going to ask for a picture of him and his sign, but my shy side got the best of me and I decided to pass.

Take care lovely people, I hope it is a great year of blessings, health and surprises!  Thanks for reading!
