Today I am excited to share the work of talented artist and designer, Helen Little. She is the founder and creator of Laura Britt Shoes. ( They are named after her two daughters). Helen digitally designs beautiful artwork onto canvas , which are screen printed onto tennis shoes.  She has an amazing story and journey behind her work!

In 1994 Helen suffered a life threatening stroke, and was plagued with not being able to walk and other disabilities. Her faith in God, and the love and support of her family helped her fully recover. The stroke was a life changing experience for Helen in many ways.  She came out on the other side  , with a talent not known to her before. She was able to imagine and create amazing designs for fashionable footwear.  Her doctor informed her that some people receive a talent after suffering brain trauma.

Laura Britt Shoes is quickly  becoming a well known brand  These designs are lovingly created in the sweet little town of Leavenworth, located here in WA state.  Helen and her husband Greg run the business and give back to the community, by donating to Young life Ministry and Cleveland Clinic for Vascular Research. Read more of Helen's story here .

This past June, I was honored to be invited by Helen, along with 4 other Seattle fashion bloggers, to participate in a commercial campaign for Laura Britt Shoes. I had a great time and loved the chance to help get the word out about this wonderful brand.  View the commercial here.( by Lyrel Media)
