I'm excited to feature the top fall trends from Fashion week at the Bellevue Collection! It is the premiere fashion event of the year, in the Seattle area. Before I get to all the amazing style on the runway, I wanted to share a recap of the week's events.
PREVIEW PARTY: PRESS EVENT
Many bloggers and fashion professionals were invited to attend the preview party at the new hotel in Lincoln Square: The W Hotel "-Whatever, Whevever." This venue is absolutely stunning and decorated to perfection. It's green meets global glamour vibes all the way around. The W Bellevue is inspired by the weekender lake houses of days gone by. It made for the perfect backdrop to preview fall fashion.
It was a great time catching up with blogger friends, and meeting new ones. The highlight of the evening was having our outfits sketched by a talented fashion illustrator. It was also a treat to view all the beautiful runway looks up close.

Angie and Jenn are the first bloggers I met in person, when I started blogging 3 years ago. They are lovely, and very inspirational young ladies.

Yasss! We made it on Seattle Magazine's Insta stories: such a fun night!
Hanging out before the show in the lobby of the Hyatt, is always a great experience too. They sure know how to throw a party! Tasty hors d'oeuvres, desserts, and sparkling drinks were enjoyed by all. Booths are also set up outside for taking selfies, 5 min beauty makeovers etc. The lighting was a bit too purple this time, so please
excuse the funky skin color!
THE POSH PARTY
Friday night was the posh trend show, featuring this looks are available to purchase at Bellevue Square Mall. All of the outfits in the show were statement makers. If you want to be Northwest chic this fall: it's all about wearing elaborate layers and rich textures.

Lux and Shine:
Meeting a world renowned designer was a highlight of fashion week. Christian Siriano is an American fashion designer and is known for dressing celebrities for red carpet events and awards shows. He gained popularity after winning the 4th season of Project Runway.
One of his recent projects was creating Barbie replicas of his red carpet looks. He is known as the designer for " All People", as his designs include looks for all sizes and genders. All his styles are drop dead gorgeous, and many of them were featured recently at NYFW.
I really enjoyed the luncheon at Civility & Unrest, and hearing more about his story from the Bellevue Collection interview. They opened up the floor to ask questions. I am a seamstress: so I asked about his design process from sketch to the finished product.
He also answered questions about: his take on Seattle style, ageism in the fashion industry, and where he is headed next. Andrew, who I mentioned earlier in the post, interviewed Christian for Seattle Magazine, check it out here.
I hope my recap of the event was inspiring, and that all the looks for fall have you excited to shop.
