Family Owned

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I'm always on the lookout for unique cafes when traveling, or around my area.. This family owned restaurant makes all meals with quality ingredients.  along with warm friendly service.

The owners want each guest to have a wonderful experience at  Oak Table Cafe. Their goal is to provide a warm atmosphere were guests feel welcome and appreciated.  Special care is taken to make sure every person has a memorable experience. These are important values passed down through 3 generations of restaurant owners.

Breakfast with a View

Oak Table Cafe is located high on the hill in Silverdale, on the Kitsap Peninsula. If you are on vacation in Seattle, this is a great trip over on the ferry.  If you like to dine with amazing scenery, this is the place! Ah yes, breakfast with a view is always better.  The big picture windows allow for maximum viewing and enjoyment.  On a sunny day, the beauty of Silverdale can be seen far into the distance.

Good Food Takes Time

Everything on the menu at Oak Table is made from scratch. Only pure and high quality ingredients are used . The chefs all realize that good food takes special care and time to prepare. The pancakes are probably the best I've ever tasted! All of the mixes at the Oak Table are made from unbleached hard wheat flour, fresh eggs and real cream.

Next on the agenda is to try the gigantic German pancake, it looks so yummy.  If you decide to order tone bring a big appetite. It's actually enough for two!

Warm Friendly Service

At this hometown cafe, the goal is always to provide the customer with a positive dining experience.  Nikki and her husband Ross believe the food is a compliment to the service.  All the staff at the restaurant aim to delight, each time you visit!

I've eaten breakfast here twice. The service was indeed top notch, and very personable. I hope to make several visits, so I can sample everything on the menu, ha!  The Oak Table also serves lunch too, if you can't make it up there for breakfast.

A Place to Connect with Friends

A few weeks ago I asked two of my friends to meet up for breakfast. We  have a very special bond, as we grew up together in Surrey B.C. Canada.  These girls are sisters, as you can probably tell!  Anyway we have been pals since we were 9 years old. We don't get the opportunity to meet up much, as life is so busy. It's amazing that we all ended up in the same area in Washington State.

Meeting at this cafe was the perfect spot to catch up and reminisce. The atmosphere is so relaxing, happy and fosters positive connections.  When you leave, both your tummy and heart will be full!

Words of advice: If you do choose to dine here, the lines get long real fast! If you show up by 8 a.m, you should get in. The restaurant does close after lunch is served.

I do hope you will make a trip to the Oak Table Cafe next time you are in the Puget Sound region. Besides the Silverdale location, there also one in  Sequim. This is the location where the story got started!

Happy travles ( and eatin!) Until next time,

Love it? Pin it, thank you!
