Casual Winter Outfit
I hope wherever you are today, you are warm and toasty! Punxsutawny Phil can just go crawl back in his hole! Ha, six more weeks of winter he says, and wow it sure has made a blast here in western Washington. We had a huge dump of snow last night! In harsh winter temps, layering up is key to staying warm. The challenge- how to stay warm and still be stylish! An outerwear vest is the perfect piece to style a casual winter look with. My new found love is puffer vests. I never used to like them, as they are so bulky and don't fit so well under a coat. I always felt like a puffer fish wearing one! This year they are super popular, and you can find them in every color and print you can imagine. I was looking for one in silver or gray, and didn't have much luck. How to Style Faux Fur
Hello Lovely People, How was your weekend? Maybe you spent it shopping for the upcoming holidays, I did get a few gifts bought. Here in the northwest the colder weather has settled in, so it is starting to feel more like fall for sure. As much as I LOVE warm weather, it's nice to pull out the furry, warm fuzzy pieces to liven up your wardrobe for the long days of fall and winter. Faux fur is always a great choice, and pairs well with casual or dressy outfits. Layered on top of a long sleeved knit top and your favorite leggings, a fur vest can add a lot of glam to your otherwise simple outfit. Some gals don't want to go all out with a fur coat, so a vest is a fabulous way to make style statement as well. Street Styling at the Royal Hawaiian
Hi friends, I hope your weekend was fabulous! I've been home from paradise for about 3 weeks, and am missing it terribly. Besides the beach and all great sights to see, I enjoyed checking out all the beautiful hotels located on the beach. My favorite was the Royal Hawaiian, probably because it looks like a great big pink palace where a girl can be pampered to the max! This lovely complex is nestled right on the beach.
