Prime Location on the Atlantic

Vila Galé Cascais sits in a dream-worthy spot  along the coastline, with the sound of waves outside your balcony door. From the hotel, you can walk to Boca do Inferno, stroll to  Cascais Marina, or walk to the historic town center filled with boutiques, cafes and seaside promenades.

It’s one of those places where you can start your day with a peaceful beach walk and end it sipping wine while watching the sunset—all without needing a car.

The Rooms: Comfortable & Stylish

My room at Vila Galé was bright, spacious and inviting—everything you need to recharge after a day of sightseeing. I had a balcony with a view of the Atlantic: what an amazing paradise to awaken to every morning!

The decor blends modern simplicity, echoing the natural beauty of the coast. There’s strong Wi-Fi, a mini-bar and plenty of space to unwind. The bed was super comfy, and oversized-which I loved!

The hotel's breakfast buffet features fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, cheeses, and local specialties, making it a great way to fuel up before exploring Cascais. Amenities That Make a Difference

This four star hotel checks all the boxes when it comes to thoughtful amenities. There’s a swimming pool with loungers, beautiful green spaces and easy access to seaside walking

The pool along with the view, was my favrite part of staying at Vila Gale. If you prefer the beach for swimming, there are many in Cascais. Across the road, is an inlet offering a " swimming hole" experience!

If you’re traveling with kids, there’s a small playground and spacious common areas that give everyone room to relax. The hotel also has event space, which makes it a great pick for retreats or small group gatherings. The hotel was very clean and check in was a breeze!

Whether you’re planning a midlife girlfriend getaway, a romantic escape, or a solo recharge, Vila Galé is a great fit. It offers a relaxed luxury—and laid-back comfort in a scenic setting.

If you're wondering where to stay in Cascais without renting a car, Vila Galé Cascais is a fantastic option. The marina, historic center, and many of the best things to do in Cascais are within walking distance or just a short ride away. I didn't have a car during my stay and found it easy to explore the town at my own pace.

Tourist Attraction Nearby: Boca do Inferno

Boca do Inferno ( Hell's Mouth) is a viewpoint located in the seaside. The seawater has access the deep bottom of the chasm; and vigorously strikes its rocky walls, making it a popular tourist attraction. It is a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Boca do Inferno is definitely worth your time to stop! The wind is very strong; and almost blew my dress over my head, ha - so pack your clothes accordingly!
